To provide Conductive Education programs for children with motor challenges allowing them to achieve optimal physical, cognitive, and social independence.
SWONT Conductive Education was formed to provide summer programs for children living with motor challenges in locations across Southwestern Ontario, including Chatham, Sarnia, Windsor, and London. Learn more here about what is Conductive Education.
Certified trained Conductive Education teachers from a recognized institution instruct our program, building children’s cognitives skills using alternate strategies to accomplish everyday tasks, including sitting, standing, walking, dressing, and eating.
Through charitable donations and fundraising campaigns since 1999, SWONT Conductive Education Trust fund has covered operating expenses. Your donations allow us to keep registration fees to a minimum for the four-week session.
As members of the Association of Conductive Education of North America (ACANA), we are proud to represent programs and professionals providing Conductive Education services within North American.

Children are taught to see themselves as active participants in their own education; they are encouraged to be problem-solvers and develop a self-reliant personality that fosters active participation, initiative, determination, motivation, independence and self-sufficiency.
